Sunken Ships, stories under the sea
“Human beings have been sailing for 12,000 years. This is what we know from the remains of boats that have been found at the bottom of the sea. Some have been found at great depth, more than six thousand meters. Others sank closer to the coast, only a few tens of meters under the surface. The interest in recovering sunken objects is as old as the history of shipwrecks”.
This is the beginning of this story about three boats that did not reach their destination and remained buried under our waters forever.
We have used illustration and Augmented Reality to explain these stories that are part of the ‘Shipwrecks’ exhibition at the Museum of Archeology of Catalonia.
The goal was to create a standalone piece inspired by the exhibition.
