Palestina – Working Amid Genocide is a series of four one-minute animated documentaries created for the Pau i Solidaritat Foundation of CCOO (Comisiones Obreras).

The series brings to life the real testimonies of four Palestinian people who continue to work and move forward amid destruction, fear and displacement.

Each one-minute film is built from the testimony of the person portrayed. Their stories have been translated into animation, with the characters illustrated from photographs of the real protagonists.

Rather than recreating events through conventional documentary footage, the series uses animation to give shape to their voices and personal experiences.

The four stories portray different realities:

Halima lost her workshop and home in a bombing and was displaced with her family for almost a year.

Hwayda describes crossing barriers on foot to get to work, despite the risk of being exposed to both rubber and live bullets.

Amjad speaks about the destruction of his home, the loss of his job and the struggle to feed his children, who depend on food parcels.

Munjid recounts being forced out of his car, insulted, handcuffed and blindfolded without any accusation or explanation.

The work included the concept, scriptwriting, and production.
